Craftrock Video Program

Of the many things being cancelled during this pandemic, live music gatherings are among the most heartbreaking. Music is one of the few things that can transcend borders and language, and unite all of humanity. And those that create it are artists, the vast majority of whom make very little money doing so in the end (if they make money at all). Of course, not all is lost, thanks to livestreaming. While it’s not quite the same as a live concert, it still provides excitement and inspiration–and in the comfort of your own home, you can enjoy whatever beer you like!

The annual Craftrock Circuit music festival, launched a few years ago by the same company behind Craft Beer Market, has been canceled, of course. While we wish this, too, could have been live-streamed, the organizers have instead created special programming featuring the artists for YouTube. It is scheduled to air Saturday, April 18th and Sunday, April 19th. The artists are mostly indie or lesser-known underground bands, but definitely worth hearing, especially if you have a beer in hand.

Thankfully, Craftrock Brewing, a brewpub and live house also owned by the concert producer, has set up an online store where you can easily purchase deliverable beer sets from participating breweries: Shiga Kogen, Minoh Beer, Kyoto Brewing Company, Brewdog and, of course, Craftrock Brewing itself. If you plan on watching, hurry and order so you can have your beer delivered in time!
