More and more often we get to welcome a new brewery to the scene. Kyohei and Monami Nakajima recently received their brewing license and started brewing at Brewery Songbird, which they describe as a “nanobrewery”. They currently plan to focus on Belgian and other European styles, and will sell in both kegs and bottles.
Brewer Kyohei will be at the Tokyo Beer Week event at Beer O’clock in Chiba City from April 10-12 (open to close on the 10th and 12th, from 6pm on the 11th). He will be presenting to the general public Songbird’s first brews, a Belgian blonde (4.5%) and a Golden Bitter (5%+). He will of course share in many rounds of beers with bar patrons, too. Kyohei will be introducing more of Songbird’s brews in bottles later this month at Cafe Streamline in Daikanyama on April 25th. He will also be revealing their newly created label.
