Cardinal Trading is a relatively new importer focusing on craft beers from the Eastern United States, particularly Virginia, the home state of Cardinal’s founder, Grayson Shepard. The company also carries products from breweries such as Jackie O’s from Ohio and Westbrook from South Carolina. Cardinal has launched a bilingual online store to help customers get its import beers during the pandemic.

At the moment, Cardinal’s imports come in 12 or 24 packs. Credit cards are accepted and shipping is included in the prices, which right now are heavily discounted. Several strong and sour beers are included in the lineup. Both of these styles, which are appropriate for aging, should be welcome to those of us whose refrigerators are stock full with more temperamental IPAs that need to be drunk soon.
