Denver Brewing Company

On Sunday, August 17, Nagano Trading welcomed a newcomer to their continuously growing line of American imports with the addition of Denver Brewing Company. A selection of five of their beers was available for trial in a flight, or for the very ambitious, full size glasses on tap or by the can.

In a bit of a departure from their norm, it seems an interesting move for a company that imports the majority of its beers from well-established west coast breweries. DBC, a rather young company, founded four years ago, until now had never exported outside of Colorado, let alone the U.S. Our curiosity has been piqued. Are they bound for great things and Nagano is the first to notice or is this simply a move by the importer to diversify their lineup? Surely there is more to the story. Whatever the case may be, why not give their beers a try and formulate your own theory?
